I want to be able to do this for any site rendered in wordpress math, i.e.,
where the math is usually converted to an images using PHP code.

NOTE. pandoc works well if one is content to \includegraphic the images
generated by the PHP code. However, I am a NON administrator
of the particular wordpress site I wish to have pandoc convert into a LaTeX
document where the mathematics is written in actualy LaTeX.

Is this possible via pandoc or a plugin? The latex code is displayed in the
html code albeit it's a bit garbled...

NOTE. I am NOT asking about how pandoc can convert wordpress markdown as a
NON administrator I do NOT have access to that code.
