Do we want document metadata to be visible in output documents?

I'm linking here a discussion we are having on Github. In a nutshell, a 
visible DOCX title would become invisible when the document is turned into 
an RST via pandoc, because the title is interpreted as medatada. What do 
you think? You find the issue below:
