Image size problem

Image size problem

Hello,

I fail to size the picture I insert in markdown, I red the pandoc 
documentation and tried:

* ![](image.jpg){ width=40% }*

but having that:





*height=\textheight ]{/home/Meux/Documents/folder/Image.jpg}' ! Paragraph 
ended before \Gin@iii was complete.<to be read again>                    
\par l.162 *

when i don't specify any size it works but image are too tall

also tried that and didn't work:

*<img src="/home/Meux/Documents/folder/Image.jpg" style="zoom:40%;" />*

Did you try width=*"*40%*"*
