when I run: pandoc test.md -o test.pdf

I get this error:

lstat(./pdflatex) failed ...

./pdflatex: No such file or directory

pdflatex: ../../../texk/kpathsea/progname.c:316: remove_dots: Assertion `ret' failed.

pandoc: Error producing PDF

When I run with sudo, it works properly. I do not want to run it as root all the time.
