pandoc does not merge files ideally ....

Some authors do not produce a single html out of the partial html files the 
edit. I am trying to use pandoc to merge a bunch of files, but the merged 
file doesn't look right. Some styles get raised. I did a printscreen of the 
two pages for you to see exactly what I mean:

a) on the page as downloaded everything looks OK:

b) but the same line on the pandoc'ed file doesn't:

I am not even sure if that problem relates to pandoc directly or it may be 
partially an html quirk.

How can I fix that problem so that all lines look OK?
