Is it possible to set the highlighting at the yaml header?

Hi pandoc experts,

A quick question:

   - Is it possible to set the highlighting at the yaml header? 

I am trying highlight-style: monochrome but it is not working.

No, you need a command-line flag for this.

If you don't mind the slowdown you get from using panzer (<
https://github.com/msprev/panzer>) you can set most command line options in
metadata or in predefined style files which use YAML syntax and hence are
as similar to in-document metadata as you could wish.
