Well I discovered it when I was in a similar situation because I remembered that headers can be optionally closed by hashes -- I use that sometimes to make ATX headers stand out better -- and I thought that maybe It was possible to put the attributes after them. It isn't documented anywhere AFAIK and I suspect it's an emergent feature rather than a feature.
