* Preventing outer list items from being paras (when the inner list is styled) @ 2023-01-20 10:10 'William Lupton' via pandoc-discuss [not found] ` <CAEe_xxgwb=DDN-H1+F4SiCXf-cHfO5aPDk43B1zsQWEdeB1kOg-JsoAwUIsXosN+BqQ9rBEUg@public.gmane.org> 0 siblings, 1 reply; 2+ messages in thread From: 'William Lupton' via pandoc-discuss @ 2023-01-20 10:10 UTC (permalink / raw) To: pandoc-discuss [-- Attachment #1: Type: text/plain, Size: 1650 bytes --] Dear all, I want to style some outer and inner lists and ideally all the list items would be plain rather than paras. However, I can't see how to apply the inner style without a blank line, which forces the outer items to be paras. I know I can work around this via a lua filter or CSS but is it possible to do it directly? Please see this 'try pandoc' link. Here I'm using commonmark_x but I've also tried with regular markdown and fenced divs (with the same result). https://pandoc.org/try/?params=%7B%22text%22%3A%22%23+no+styles+%28all+items+are+plain%29%5Cn%5Cn*+a%5Cn++*+b%5Cn*+c%5Cn%5Cn%23+with+styles+%28outer+items+are+para%29%5Cn%5Cn%7B.outer-style%7D%5Cn*+a%5Cn%5Cn++%7B.inner-style%7D%5Cn++*+b%5Cn*+c%5Cn%5Cn%23+you+need+the+blank+line%5Cn%5Cn%7B.outer-style%7D%5Cn*+a%5Cn++%7B.inner-style%7D%5Cn++*+b%5Cn*+c%5Cn%22%2C%22to%22%3A%22html5%22%2C%22from%22%3A%22commonmark_x%22%2C%22standalone%22%3Afalse%2C%22embed-resources%22%3Afalse%2C%22table-of-contents%22%3Afalse%2C%22number-sections%22%3Afalse%2C%22citeproc%22%3Afalse%2C%22html-math-method%22%3A%22plain%22%2C%22wrap%22%3A%22auto%22%2C%22highlight-style%22%3Anull%2C%22files%22%3A%7B%7D%2C%22template%22%3Anull%7D Thanks, William -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "pandoc-discuss" group.
