Hey all, just getting started with pandoc today with the goal of a Lambda docx->pdf generator for an app I’m working on.

To try this out, I installed pandoc 2.7.3 and mactex on my Mac, slapped out a new Word doc straight out of the default Word template library, and ran

pandoc "Parent 1 Info.docx" -o Parent.pdf

But while the Word file has formatting, images, colors and such, the resulting PDF is a sad shrunken version of it without those things…. (.docx and pdf attached)

What am I doing wrong?

My goal is to do some form-fill with docxtemplater and then just print some “send to customer ready” PDFs direct off of them.
