Creating epub with page numbers

Hello
   I am trying to convert an html file into epub. Based on a heading level
in html file, I want to put content on a page in epub output. Or I could
chunk each page into separate html file and pass that as input to pandoc.
I've attached input html and output epub file with email.

   I browsed the documentation, I found a flag for epub chapter, but no
mention of epub pages. So is it possible to somehow force pagination in
epub output file generated with pandoc?

As readers can adjust the font size is does not make sense to have page
numbers, except you want to have a reference to a critical edition or
something like this.
