Just discovered that I'd neglected to keep track of Pandoc updates and my installed version was quite old. Discovered that the lastest version has Jira formatted output. I could hardly be more happy about this as I use both Pandoc (via SimpleText) and Jira daily at work. Thank you. Pandoc remains a part of my essential toolkit at work.
