How could figures and their captions follow the geometry parameters?

How could figures and their captions follow the geometry parameters?

Hello!

My figures and captions are wider than my paragraphs. How could they also 
follow the geometry parameters I set up in the YAML front matter? Please 
see this front matter and a screenshot demo below.
