* How to get started with making posters using Pandoc and VSC? @ 2022-09-20 13:28 'Krisztián Hofstädter' via pandoc-discuss [not found] ` <7cc7f425-101e-4ed8-8a5c-87b0ec8e7c3an-/JYPxA39Uh5TLH3MbocFFw@public.gmane.org> 0 siblings, 1 reply; 2+ messages in thread From: 'Krisztián Hofstädter' via pandoc-discuss @ 2022-09-20 13:28 UTC (permalink / raw) To: pandoc-discuss [-- Attachment #1.1: Type: text/plain, Size: 840 bytes --] Hello! How should I get started with making posters using Pandoc and VSC? I tried to amend some examples online (e.g. Overleaf <https://www.overleaf.com/learn/latex/Posters>, DevTut <https://devtut.github.io/latex/creating-posters-using-beamer.html#orientation-and-size>), but was not successful. Do you happen to have some templates I could start experimenting with? Or a link to a website that can help? You can use Codebraid Preview <https://marketplace.visualstudio.com/items?itemName=gpoore.codebraid-preview> extension for VSCode. It uses both Codebraid and Pandoc. You can create and use the _codebraid_preview.yaml file with any Pandoc options, including filters and from, but except to. You can switch any Pandoc format for from. You can preview the Markdown with Codebraid Preview on the editor bottom bar at the right. Firstly, you need to install Codebraid via pip before using VSCode and installing this extension. If pandoc is already installed on your OS, you can use Codebraid now. I hope you like this extension!
