Hi all,

As I understand, the templating engine Pandoc uses is built-in. This is all 
good, but I feel like there are some missing features.

One feature I personally miss:
If-statement conditions

What I miss most, is being able to create conditions in if-statments. For 
example:

%if(pagetitle == "null")%
...
%endif%

Currently this seems not possible.
