Hi, No, they aren't written in Lua but in Haskell, as the rest of Pandoc. You can find them in Pandoc's source tree (), in src/text/pandoc/readers/bibtex.hs, src/text/pandoc/citeproc/bibtex.hs and src/text/pandoc/writers/bibtex.hs.
