Ok, a little update, not = too important but strange.

I now downloaded the Tinos fo= nt and found that (according to FontForge) it does not actually contain a r= eversed pilcrow glyph.

The samples I sent I prepar= ed as HTML with CSS according to the Google Fonts API. I went to great leng= ths to avoid replacement characters to be shown, which browsers apparently = incessantly do. Concretely, I additionally embedded the special "Adobe= Blank" font which contains all Unicode code points, but with a blank g= lyph for them, and then I had code like this,

=C2=A0 <p class=3D"sample" style=3D"font-family: Tinos, = AdobeBlank">=E2=81=8B</p>

to e= nsure that if the font does not contain the reversed pilcrow, nothing is sh= own. That seems to have worked for most fonts, but not for Tinos. There mus= t be some special witchery at work. ;)

Anyway, tha= t reduces the set of true & jgm-approved reversed pilcrows to one, Voll= korn.

For the fun of it, attached what it looks li= ke if one uses the reversed pilcrow as if it was a P.
