Hi,
Before all, in my first post to the group, I want to say great thank you to
all pandoc developers. It is a great product! I use it in my Clerq project
<https://nvoynov.github.io/clerq/> and it gives me the ability to generate
hundreds of pages documents easily.
Are there any plug-ins for pandoc that provides the ability to turn
markdown link [caption](link) into cross-reference of output docx, odt
document?

This question is related to what I've asked a day or two ago, about some
special MS Word constructions. Cross-references are MS Word { REF } fields,
and pandoc cannot insert them directly, so it seems you should replace
[caption](link) with a corresponding OpenXML construction with the help of
a Lua filter.
