Using the following command to generate citations

pandoc test.md -citeproc -f markdown_strict+yaml_metadata_block -t markdown_strict+citations+smart+yaml_metadata_block -s --bibliography blog.bib --csl acm.csl -o check.md

The test.md has a few citations but it is not rendered as references in the check.md

Is there something I am missing?
