For what it's worth - that's not actually relevant in many places.  The 
law is against removing the DRM, not against making it easy to pirate, 
or sharing it, etc.  Ownership status doesn't matter.

Of course: I am not a laywer, double-check your relevant statues, 
excptions, case law, etc.
