I'm pleased to announce the release of pandoc 2.3.1,
available in the usual places:

This release fixes a regression in the RST reader (introduced in
2.1.1), which caused emphasis, links, and other inline containers to
be parsed incorrectly when they extended across line breaks.
It also fixes a persistent problem with the 32-bit Windows
packages, which formerly caused segfaults on Windows 7.
The Markdown reader now puts `uri` and `email` classes on
regular and email autolinks.
In addition, there are many small bug fixes and improvements.
Thanks to Alexander Krotov, Albert Krewinkel, Mauro Bieg,
Francesco Occhipinti, and first-time contributors Ivan Trubach, Jonas
Scholl, Brian Leung, and Nils Carlson.
