I want to read txt file in my mobile phone, but I need toc. So I change it
to markdown. Most reader app do not support markdown, so I use pandoc to
get an epub. So you can see, the css is not what I want in the output epub
file.I read the user guide, but I can not find a way to get a pure epub
without any css.
Also, I do not need the `nav.xhtml`. At first I convert to just epub, so I
think epub3 must have it. But then I canvert it with -o epub2. The
nav.xhtml file is still there. Is there any opinion to remove it??
By the way, I would be even more happy if
com.apple.ibooks.display-options.xml can be removed.
And, something I do not familier with, do I need to use --standalone in
markdown convert to epub?

You can use --css and pass in a CSS file of your choice.
It can be empty if you like.

No.

No option to do this either, sorry. How is this problematic
for you?

No, because fragments don't make sense for that format, so
--standalone is not necessary.
