Hi
I've started learning some Haskell, and, as going through tutorials and
textbooks feels a bit dull, I thought dabbling with a Pandoc filter
could be a nice (and hopefully useful) exercise. Just: I have to admit I
feel totally lost, and the documentation seems to assume much more
Haskell knowledge than I currently have. The types documentation is
rather technical. Have I overlooked something? Any hints or advice on
how to get started are highly appreciated.
Best,
Denis

Are you referring to https://pandoc.org/filters.html when talking about
the docs? I assumed that could be a good place to start.

Personally, I started by using Haskell to solve Project Euler exercises
and then doing a lot(!) of copy'n'paste dabbling. Maybe I'm not the best
person to ask.

Feel free to ask questions here. The docs are written by people
who have been Haskellers a long time and may have forgotten what
is obvious and what is not!
