Renaming "References" section?

Renaming "References" section?

Hello,

My document contains this header:
> ---
> title: "Curriculum Vitae"
> lang: english
> output: pdf_document
> geometry: margin=2cm, a4paper
> bibliography: PublicationList.bib
> ---

And at it's end a section like this
> ---
> nocite: |
>   @item1, 
>   @item2
> ...
>
> ##References

This results (as expected) in the references placed in a "References" 
section, but as this is a CV, I would much prefer the section name to be 
"Publications". Where would I change this?

Just change the ##References heading -- the reference list is automatically added at the end of the document, no matter any headings.

Done. Thank you. Serves me right for reading documentation to carefully and 
copying examples verbatim ;)
