The instructions at http://smarden.org/socklog/readme.solaris.html discuss
using -DWANT_SUN_DOOR to enable door support under Solaris. At least under
Solaris 9, the resulting code will fail to link -- one also needs to add
'-ldoor' to compile/conf-ld, which should perhaps be noted on the web page.
