Hi, a new runit test package is available through
http://smarden.org/runit/
When told to start or restart services, the sv program now utilizes the
./check script, optionally provided in the service directory, to check
whether a service is available, after checking for the service daemon's
process id. The chpst program has been updated to support multiple group
ids through the command line switches -u and -u.
If you use runit regularly, please contribute to the project
http://smarden.org/pape/#contribution
Thanks, Gerrit.
