skawares Failt to build if the CFLAGS are not in the same line

Hello! Hope everyones having a good day today

Wanted to report a downstream bug at 
https://bugs.gentoo.org/show_bug.cgi?id=951845
I don't know enough about build systems to suggest a fix but hopefully
someone else might.

There's enough argument on that Gentoo page about this, but frankly I don't
know why anyone would expect embedded newlines to work in a configuration
variable.  The documentation almost certainly doesn't say this is okay.

The fix here, IMHO, is "don't do that".  Define your build/conf variables as
expected, as a single string on one line.  Problem avoided.

But the fact is like mentioned in the bug autotools,cmake and meson are 
able to
handle it fine thats how I build my entire Gentoo systems from scratch.
