Subject: runit now in MacPorts

Hi all,

Further to a message I sent to this list last month, my runit
Portfile has now been included into MacPorts (formerly DarwinPorts).

To be consistent with the launchd infrastructure on OS X and in
MacPorts, the port creates a start-up item that uses daemondo to
execute the top-level runsvdir. Works nicely for me, and I hope it
will prove useful for others too.

Best wishes,

-Steve
