Hi, version 2.2.0 of the runit package is available through
https://smarden.org/runit/
Thanks to the community, and especially to Alex Efros and Z. Liu for
recently consolidating a great set of commits, this version includes
patches from Gentoo, Debian, and Void Linux to properly build with
modern toolchains.
The chpst program learned the option -C to run a program in a specific
working directory (thx Void Linux), and the runit program now respects
the magic file /etc/runit/nosync to make sync (commit filesystem caches
to disk) on shutdown and reboot optional (thx Debian).
If you use runit regularly, please contribute to the project.
