[TUHS] Wanted: AT&T System V Release 3.2.{1,2,3} Source Code

Hi folks,

I'm in search of source code for AT&T's System V Release 3.2.1, 3.2.2,
and/or 3.2.3 for the 3B2. Does this exist? Has anyone ever seen it?

Note that I'm not looking for the System V Release 3.2 Source Code
Provision for the 3B2 /310 and /400 -- I already have that. It was
absolutely invaluable when I was writing my 3B2/400 emulator.

The reason I'm so keen on getting access is that I have ROM images from
a 3B2/1000, and I'd like to add support for it to my 3B2 emulator. The
system board memory map seems a bit different than the /300, /310, and
/400. These max out at SVR 3.2.

I can't imagine trying to add 3B2/1000 support without the 3.2.x source
code.

I imagine there's some tape image somewhere that's a delta of files that
take you from 3.2 to 3.2.1, 3.2.2 or 3.2.3?

I believe there is a sysvr4 source dump floating around with the 3b2 base

It turns out, you're quite right!

I originally had an SVR4 dump from who knows where that did not contain
the /usr/src/uts/3b2 directory, but I recently was the benefactor of
*another* dump. This time, it looks like the real deal. /usr/src/uts/3b2
is there in all its glory.

This is probably all I need to get going.

As far as I could find, the binary distribution is not readily available
(and maybe /was/ not readily available, this seemed to be late enough to
just be a code dump for source licensees).

It would be fun to try and build this into a useable release, but I have
not yet determined if everything is there as well as if a 3.2 system can
hoist the build.

If it'd be possible to run SVr4 on the 3B2 emulator, that'd be really
cool, particularly if there's a C compiler available. That would give
us long filenames and the possible ability to bootstrap some version
of GCC for C89 compatibility, and from there, maybe, to more modern
tools.

Otherwise, I can't imagine (anymore) trying to do anything on a system with
only 14 character filenames.

I turned up some 3B2 3.2 binary floppies in the CHM collection.
Will see if I can get those archived.

I also just brought up V/386 3.2.3 on a 6386 WGS and am trying to find the C development floppies.

Not much joy on that front.
The utilities are there, but not the boot disk or core system

We have the boot floppies for USL SVr4, but only one of the two cartridge
tapes, and that had a dried up tape band which contaminated the front of
the tape, so I haven't been able to read it.

I did manage to read a Bell Technologies SysVr3 3.0 CPIO cart, but I can't find
the install floppies which I put up on bitsavers /bits under BellTechnologies
