I discussed the possible options for an OpenSolaris license with Andrew Tucker in September 2004 during a dinner. Andrew Tucker was "distinguished engineer" and the chief architect for the OpenSolaris creation. BTW: this fact has been confirmed by Simon Phipps, so I am very sure about it.
