I'm sorry to say, it still seems to work that way.

I just saw a talk from red hat about=C2=A0putting li= nux in flash to use as a boot loader, for example, and the=C2=A0authors som= ehow ignored the last 25 years and acted like they invented it. Amazing. Tu= rns out 10 minutes is enough.
