Reading the .txt file there, Ben says he got them at an auction "to raise
money to support the move of the Computer History Museum's move from Boston
to San Jose". If it's the same one where I bid on and won a copy of
_Computer Lib_, that was probably 1995 or?

Hi Warren,
I have an identical deck and I’ve uploaded the photos I took to the same directory.
Rob Ricci gave it to me on 7 November 2025 after the start of my research into
the UNIX V4 tape. I believe some Utah researchers were involved with this USENIX
and this is from leftover stock.
I’m happy to scan them at 600 dpi with our scanner, like the UNIX documents I’ve
put up on the Internet Archive.

I wonder how it was decided which person will be on which card :-)

Thank you, Warren, for sharing,
These are absolutely classic, I really enjoyed looking at them. Using this pack for an actual game would be distracting from a UNIX nerd point of view though, I suspect :-)
Best regards,
Cameron

It was all Peter Weinberger's doing.
I still have that deck somewhere in my apartment. I wonder if I can find
it ...

What do you mean? What's the story?
Thanks,

Sorry, you don't know my sense of humor. I was joking.
I saw Peter Weinberger's name on the Joker, that's all.
I do not recall that Peter was much involved in USENIX. I'll ask him when
I next see him.

Ah. Sort of like EGREG in the later Research versions. :-)
