Now that we're all off on a slew of tangents, I thought I would point 
out that AIX wasn't really moved into maintenance mode in recent days. 
It's been there a while. What happened recently was the movement of the 
onshore contingent, offshore. Unless somebody has some inside 
information beyond the register article and its sources?
