When my mother asked my fifth grade teacher what she should do about my
bad handwriting, she was told to get me a typewriter.
I spent one summer school session taking typing. Little did we know
thet in a few years, being able to type 60 WPM would be very valuable to
my career.
Sometimes my employees were pretty impressed when we couldn’t get data
moved any other way that I’d sit down with the printout and just retype
it.
