@Johnnynator : Thank you for taking the time to devise a patch. It does not work as is and I only want to use the package in x86_64 with glibc. So, for my needs, excluding i686 is just fine. Even If I can get it to compile I cannot test it in any other arch/libc :) Ι really appreciate all the work put in to get all archs supported, but I have no interest for anything other that what I am actually using. I am closing the PR, Ι will continue using the package from my local cache. I hope someone will succeed to build this for i686 so that users for this arch will benefit :)
