Adding a line to the template that they conflict just means that xbps will stop you from installing both of them at the same time. https://github.com/void-linux/void-packages/blob/master/Manual.md#optional-variables contains a variable designated for these conflicts. If you tried to install both of them at the same time, both packages would try to write a binary into /usr/bin/tldr.

Yea I know about conflicts. Going to close it, didn't realize we had a tldr already. Searched for tldr pkg but no results
