There's a merged pull request on the void-packages repository
rtl8822bu-dkms: update to 20200407.
https://github.com/void-linux/void-packages/pull/20863
Description:
This update should fix the crashes this module had when running with the Linux kernel 5.4 despite compiling and installing successfully (I have tested this). It should also allow compiling it with the 5.6 version (but I haven't tested this).
