There is an updated pull request by ahesford against master on the void-packages repository https://github.com/ahesford/void-packages manual https://github.com/void-linux/void-packages/pull/25707 Manual.md: relax and clarify the "no sripts" policy I think our "no scripts" policy is too strict and precludes the inclusion of useful administrative tools. These are helpful to have packaged because it makes deploying new Void systems easier by keeping tools in one place. Based on a discussion in #xbps, I propose the following relaxed language that still gives us a reasonable justification for rejecting apparently useless scripts while admitting some more useful ones.
