It seems that PKGBUILD does this as shown in my previous comment.
Void doesnt set any [default locale](https://firefox-source-docs.mozilla.org/intl/locale.html#default-locale) nor ``intl.locale.requested``.
We can also read:
> If the developer wants to programmatically request the app to follow OS locales, they can assign null to requestedLocales.
