I've tested this locally on `x86_64/glibc` and it seems to work as expected. `inetutils-ifconfig` is functional, `inetutils-telnet` teleports me to 1993, and `inetutils-hostname` is more functional than  hostname from coreutils.

I had to rebase the branch onto master to avoid building a lot of extraneous packages.
