Try occupying oneself with testing Net-AMQP on other 32bit architectures, like armv[67], ppc. Build succeeds there only because tests aren't run during cross build.
You may need appropriate hardware, implementation of https://github.com/void-linux/void-packages/issues/31805, or a qemu VM.
