New comment by atweiden on void-packages repository https://github.com/void-linux/void-packages/pull/36401#issuecomment-1081370685 Comment: AFAIK Whonix unsets `CONFIG_RANDOM_TRUST_CPU` in the kernel ([workaround](https://github.com/void-linux/void-packages/commit/473a357949bef8194fea718f33605a2bc49d2e18): [random.trust_cpu=0](https://github.com/QubesOS/qubes-issues/issues/6941)), sets `CONFIG_CRYPTO_JITTERENTROPY=y`, starts jitterentropy-rngd (this package) early during boot, and loads `jitterentropy_rng` kernel module in [modules-load.d](https://github.com/Whonix/security-misc).
