New comment by mtboehlke on void-packages repository

https://github.com/void-linux/void-packages/pull/36692#issuecomment-1104225460

Comment:
I think the tests are new to this release. These may require a manual setup phase to generate temporary keys. I will look into it when I have a chance.

Looks like make check explicitly calls pip to pull in some local deps. Is that permissible for the check phase? (Not super familiar with pytest)

New comment by mtboehlke on void-packages repository

https://github.com/void-linux/void-packages/pull/36692#issuecomment-1115213165

Comment:
I am skipping some tests that run a local dropbear instance, such as the channel tests, which don't work from within xbps-src and probably shouldn't be run there anyways. In fact, the only tests that run are for dropbearconvert.

Also, we let xbps install the python checkdepends and not pip.
