you can probably adapt relevant patches from https://github.com/chimera-linux/cports/tree/master/main/llvm/patches

i have no plans right now, but I never intended to be a sole maintainer of the toolchain

i dunno where you got the idea that only i care about the patches, because if that was the case my life would have been a whole lot easier, but in any case we do not drop patches unless they are known not to be relevant anymore; it is the responsibility of the person doing the update work to rebase them as needed
