it seems that there are some reports of broadcom breakage caused by enabling this, like [here](https://bugs.archlinux.org/task/65588). I think this PR should also include [the patch that fixes that](https://github.com/archlinux/svntogit-packages/commit/35d161737f75d7c9cf339070fd56d21902faa878)
