- I tested the changes in this PR: **YES**

Lazarus works in x86-64.
The lint error for fpc is slightly wrong - fpc uses a modifies LGPL, so it should be installed but maybe the license should reflect this.
No idea why there is an error now for i686 , it can be probably fixed by updating to the `fixes` branch, but that has no recent tags and the error persist in 3.2.2.
The file conflict is an interesting one :D
