I built it in Ubuntu 22.04 and want to share my experience, maybe it will help you.
1. Only works with mariadb, not sqlite.
2. In /usr/bin/phononsettings (part of the phonon4qt5settings package) I changed “Phonon VLC” to “Phonon GStreamer”, otherwise there was segfault when trying to play any file.
3. I had to install/update:
utfcpp 4.0.5 (needed to build taglib)
taglib 2.0.1
taglib-extras 1.0.1 (with Arch Linux patch)
