Should be fixed now with [pull/52630](https://github.com/void-linux/void-packages/pull/52630). The patch is the same one used in Arch Linux's Waybar package [here](https://gitlab.archlinux.org/archlinux/packaging/packages/waybar/-/blob/main/PKGBUILD).
