From the README.md of [the official GitHub page](https://github.com/lxqt/libqtxdg):

> `libqtxdg` is a Qt implementation of freedesktop.org XDG specifications.
>
> It is maintained by the LXQt project and nearly all LXQt components are depending on it. Yet it can be used independently from this desktop environment, too.
>
> The library is able to use GTK+ icon theme caches for faster icon lookup. The cache file can be generated with utility `gtk-update-icon-cache` on a theme directory. If the cache is not present, corrupted, or outdated, the normal slow lookup is still run.

However, versions [4.0.0](https://github.com/lxqt/libqtxdg/releases/tag/4.0.0) and newer of `libqtxdg` are Qt6-based and therefore only work with Qt6-based apps. For support for Qt5-based apps, the last Qt5-based version of `libqtxdg` ([3.12.0](https://github.com/lxqt/libqtxdg/releases/tag/3.12.0)) must be installed alongside the Qt6 version of `libqtxdg` under a different package name, such as `libqt5xdg`.

I am aware that [`lxqt-build-tools-qt5`](https://github.com/void-linux/void-packages/tree/master/srcpkgs/lxqt-build-tools-qt5), [`libfm-qt5`](https://github.com/void-linux/void-packages/tree/master/srcpkgs/libfm-qt5), and [`lxqt-qt5plugin`](https://github.com/void-linux/void-packages/tree/master/srcpkgs/lxqt-qt5plugin) (the last of which [I previously requested](https://github.com/void-linux/void-packages/issues/52369)) are now a part of `void-packages`, but of the three, I currently only see `lxqt-build-tools-qt5` in the [official repo](https://voidlinux.org/packages/).
