I'm wondering if it was sensible to change the dovecot package in a way, that the default/example configuration files are not installed to /etc/dovecot/conf.d right away, but to a location `/usr/share/doc/dovecot/conf.example` or `/usr/share/dovecot/conf.avail`. Most people will modify the configuration in some way, anyway, and the default files turn out to be just a template of sorts.
